Shoulder and Upper-Quarter Problems After Breast Cancer Treatment: What Two Randomized Trials Found, Early and Late

Two 2025 randomized trials examined the shoulder after breast cancer treatment from opposite ends of the timeline. One tested a hands-on physiotherapy protocol for painful cording in the months after surgery. The other compared an individualized hospital pathway with a standard exercise pamphlet in women whose shoulder symptoms were still present three to seven years later. This course reports what each trial did, what it found, and how certain those findings are.
