Pelvic Floor Muscle Training in Pregnancy, Alone or Inside a General Exercise Program: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

A 2024 review pooled randomized trials of pelvic floor muscle training during pregnancy and looked at three outcomes that matter to women: urinary incontinence, episiotomy, and third- or fourth-degree perineal tear. Two of the three moved; one did not.
